Sustainability is no longer a trend but a necessity.  More and more people are making significant changes in their lifestyles and companies the world over are trying to help us make those changes easier. The fashion industry is very guilty of contributing to pollution yet there are many small businesses (and big ones) that are making huge strides in changes to how they manufacture and process their products and services. 

At Coco Alexander, we want to contribute to making a change, we truly believe all efforts whether small or big are a step in the right direction. We are determined to do everything we can and as we grow we will do more, as technologies change we’ll adapt to them. 

We are placing sustainability at the core of how we design, produce and deliver our products. At Coco Alexander, we know we need to make changes to see changes in the world. We want to ensure that our clients are not the only ones benefiting from our products; we also want to do everything we can to protect our environment. 

In the same way, we would also like to encourage moms to constantly select the safest and healthiest options for their children. For this reason, we are perpetually searching for ways to enhance our sustainability offer remarkably. 

Our vegan leather is recycled and GRS approved; our woven fabric that lines the vegan leather is also recycled and GRS approved. In addition to this, we also use compostable packing tape for our gift box options and water (hot water) soluble and biodegradable for our packaging option.

Most companies have their goods shipped from the manufacturer to their warehouse in individual plastic bags, we don’t, our diaper bags arrive to us in tissue paper. We believe all the little things count even if our customers don’t see those little things. This makes us feel better because we know that we’re doing something meaningful and purposeful.

Ultimately, there is only one thing that we can assure our customers; we will continue to use sustainable components as we grow and will expand our use of sustainable components in the future.
